ekinote is a free app that lets you discover the charms of all train stations and surrounding towns across Japan, and enjoyably records your station visits and gourmet photos.
If you're wondering, "I'm going to that station next, but what's nearby?" or "I use that station all the time, but I'd like to know more about it!", simply call up the station you want to visit and check information on sightseeing, gourmet food, shopping, transportation, and more, all in one place with the ekinote app. You can also add discovered stations to your favorites in "My Notes." Whether it's a familiar station and town, or one you're planning to visit in the future, you're sure to find something "serendipity" that will excite you.
*Serendipity: A wonderful coincidence or unexpected discovery.
In addition, the "Station Check-in" feature, which lets you record your actual visit to a station, and the "Ekimeshi Post" feature, which lets you record nearby gourmet food with a single photo, make your trips to stations across the country even more enjoyable. What's more, by using the "Post Station or Town Attractions" feature, you can share your favorite spots and scenery with everyone who will be visiting the station.
