Before vocabulary, let's tackle grammar.
"Learning English Grammar with Cats" is a learning app that gently guides you through English grammar in 5-10 minutes a day for 30 days. It includes two courses: junior high school grammar and high school grammar. It's not endless studying, but "learning with an end"—a goal reached after 30 days.
By your side is your chosen cat companion.
English vocabulary keeps evolving, with new words appearing no matter how much you learn.
But English grammar has a defined scope. A defined scope means—you can master it perfectly.
Let's start with grammar.
■ Your companion is the cat you choose:
Choose from five cats: Bicolor, Tabby, Calico, Black, or Russian Blue. Study together every day.
They rejoice when you get the answer right and get sad when you make a mistake. They become even more motivated as your consecutive correct answers increase.
■ Two Courses: Junior High and High School
The Junior High course covers everything from the verb "to be" to relative pronouns and the present perfect tense in 30 days.
The High School course covers the foundation of university entrance exams, including the subjunctive mood, participial phrases, advanced relative clauses, inversion, and emphatic constructions, in 30 days.
Progress is separate for each course. Adults relearning can start from the Junior High course, while high school students preparing for exams can start from the High School course—you can switch at any time.
■ Looks like a game, but is serious content
The Junior High course curriculum is based on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's curriculum guidelines. The High School course is structured around frequently appearing grammar in university entrance exams.
Each chapter ends with a boss battle. Each correct answer weakens the boss, allowing you to defeat it and progress.
■ Even mistakes become learning material
Tapping any English word in the example sentences, questions, and explanations will instantly play the pronunciation and display the meaning (all English words appearing are included—over 1200 words).
Over 150 grammatical terms, such as "verbs" and "past participles," are explained gently by your feline companion.
Furthermore, even incorrect answer choices like "eated" are explained with a tap, showing "why they're wrong."
■ Review at the Right Time Before You Forget
Based on the forgetting curve, interval repetition (SRS) ensures that reviews arrive just as you're about to forget, eliminating the feeling of "I studied it, but I forgot."
Incorrect answers are automatically collected in a "weakness notebook," and a "test preparation" section is available where you can select test ranges for practice.
On compatible devices, your feline companion uses AI to analyze your error patterns and provide advice. Analysis is performed solely within the device; learning data is never shared externally.
■ High School Entrance Exams in One App
The middle school course includes a "High School Entrance Exam Mode." 260 practice questions—including appropriate word selection, word inflection, rearranging sentences with one word removed, dialogue completion, and true/false questions—are all original and replicate the format of actual entrance exams. Mistakes flow into the "Weakness Notebook" and review section, allowing you to focus on your weak points with "Weakness Elimination." The home screen displays a countdown to the entrance exam. After completing the main course, the final step is the "Grammar Mock Test" (24 questions x 3 times - a mock test focused on grammar and vocabulary).
■ Night Falls in the Field
After 7 PM, night falls in the app's world.
Stars and a crescent moon appear in the field, and your cat companion's eyes glow golden. A 5-minute review before bed is effective for memory retention.
■ "Continuing" is Part of the Design
Continuing daily increases your streak, which accumulates on the calendar.
With "Rest Tickets" earned based on your efforts, your record won't be interrupted even if you take a day off. The home screen widget lets your cat companion tell you if you've completed "today's portion."
We've packed it with features to prevent you from giving up after only three days.
■ Challenge Your Past Self
Seal your starting point in a time capsule without revealing your score. Open it on the day you complete the course and see your growth with a Before/After comparison. A time capsule is provided for each course, and a completion certificate awaits you after 30 days.
■ All Learning is Free, Safe for Children
All learning features are free.
Ads only appear when you choose to "watch and support." You can skip them if you don't want to see them.
No account registration is required, and learning data is saved only on your device. Learning features can be used offline.
Start by choosing your partner and begin from Day 1.
Why not try learning English grammar little by little every day for 30 days?
Achieve perfection in just 5 minutes a day for 30 days. It looks like a game, but it's serious. Perfect for reviewing for middle and high school students, and for adults looking to relearn.
