THE BEST CONSTRUCTION MONITORING APP OUT THERE! YOU DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER, JUST GO AND DOWNLOAD THIS. ALSO, THE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS APP ARE AWESOME. YOU POINT AN ISSUE, THEY FIX IT. JAVED, YOU DA MAN!
Great field application, but from a substantiation and construction administration standpoint has some features that need improvement. Billing and customer service is very poor - as part of a professional services company, we expect relationships with contech companies to be collaborative partnerships, not as cash strapped software developers looking to nickel and dime you for every mistake you make in your company implementation processes. Customer service needs to improve if Fieldwire is expected to be on the same playing field as A level construction apps. Begrudgingly using this app until relations improve, or we find something better for our company.
First few weeks in with the app. I am one of a two man renovations operation and immediately this app is invaluable. Great at mapping out job progression. By inviting the client to the project, we are able to record and collaborate on any hold points(RFI). With smartphones and a tablet, details as they surface are captured and easily incorporated into workflow.
So far so good but when signing up my email address was entered incorrectly and in Profile it won't allow me to correct it but name, phone & job title it does...??? What's up with that kind of access ability is that...???
Works great. It is nice to be able to look up the plans for any job we have going on without having to go back to the truck and find the set of plans. The mark up tools and the tasks notes work well and makes it easy to make notes and changes.
Im learning to like it a lot. We are able to pin point, document and communicate issues in real time. Its great tool.
