Great for those who want/need Topo maps Awesome app for offline adventures, the only two things I would like to see are the ability to download larger sections of map at a time and a scale overlay that can be toggled on/off. Wait, I lied, two more things - a compass display tied to phone compass or gps and a legend for reference and teaching. Thanks for the great app!
No topo lines! The only time i can see the topo lines is when i am zooming in and out. As soon as i remove both fingers to stop zooming, the topo lines disappear. I have tried changing the few settings available and all the different map types. It simply doesnt work!
One Issue This works well as a map but I'm having a problem with recording tracks. No matter what I set it to, it only records track points every 5 minutes. This is too long for the trails I am looking to record. It would be better to have one every 15 to 30 seconds since I'm using it while four wheeling.
Love the app, not a complaint but a wish that I could store downloads on my SD card. Haven't figured out how to display the coordinates yet either, probably just me missing something obvious.
Worked perfectly, but then... HTC M8: I downloaded many maps — 10015 files (770 maps, 1,770MB) of the Arctic Cordillera and all was well until today when I started the app and no topo maps would display. The grid will, and the regular map, hybrid, sat and terrain display — but no topos. All the setting were configured appropriately.
It was good until the last update then now it crashes when I try to export data. Very unfortunate. Was 4 stars for sure. Will change if the problem is fixed.
Fixed three bugs that occurred on Android 6 and with new Google Play library updates.
