About this app

The Outlet Finder app helps you locate electrical outlets and wall sockets available for public use. All you need to do is bring your cord, and let our app find where you can plug into. Get the charge you need to restore battery life for your phone, tablet, laptop, skateboard, scooter, e-commute device, and more!

Features:
- Search your area for outlet and socket locations
- Outlets and sockets can be labelled for Indoor/Outdoor environments and 24 Hour availability
- Get directions for an outlet or socket via Google Maps
- Sign up to submit outlets yourself!

All outlets and wall sockets are submitted by app users. We do not own or operate any of the outlets shown through this app and advise you to be courteous to any businesses that permit you to use their electricity. There are currently 600 submitted outlets and counting! If there are no outlets or sockets in your area, please consider submitting some.

This is a fantastic concept for an app. It's exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait until enough people use it and contribute to it to make it more useful. I personally don't like that it requires location data (I should be able to just pick a location -- I can move the map around anyway). I also don't like that it requires association with my Google account. Sometimes people like to keep things low key. I'd prefer some in app method of unique ID and verification.

Terrible. It didn't find ANY outlet within a 200 mile radius. Also just let's you add outlets to the grid yourself, so that means anyone could put an outlet anywhere and there not really be one.

Sorry to hear that there were no outlets in your area. All data is provided by users, and we are a new app so there might be places where outlets aren't shown. Do you mind telling me your location so I can recruit users to add outlets there? We will add a feature to upvote/downvote locations so you don't waste time looking for non-existent outlets.

WHY IS THIS A TYPE OF APP THAT IS NOT MORE POPULAR???? Let me explain: imagine you need to charge a car battery, and it's stupid late at night. I don't mean for an ev, but for a gas guzzler. Even if you only want to charge it enough to get you by for another 10 or 20 miles, you would WANT an outlet (so long as you also have a charger, but other gadgets also work well :) )
