I first got this back in 2013 and it's great to see it continuing to be improved as time goes by. Having a commit developer is one of the most important features of a piece of software, if I'm going to adopt it in my workflow -- I can't chance suddenly upgrading and having something not work as it's not maintained.
Worth the money to buy this, the one feature request I have is: add the ability to put images in your layouts. It would be a huge help for adding labels and skins to things.
After trying the MyOsc app which worked great, i thought I'd buy this. Unfortunately it can't find my pc as host, and I couldn't find out how to fix the problem, which is ironic as a free app worked without issues...
Got it connect using their Bridge program on my MacBook in Garageband. While it did connect, the latency and consistency was really bad and the buttons were sometimes unresponsive.
Used this on a number of large and complex university projects over the last few years and it has been excellent in every way!
Warning! No midi over USB. No mention on website or Play. No answer from support after purchase asking about USB. Will update to 5* if USB feature is added (as iOS version of TouchOSC has USB midi).
- Added dedicated Tab bar labels
- Added option to send XY / Multi-XY control values in reversed order
- Added option to disable/enable Push button control push/release messages separately
- Minor improvements and bug fixes
Be sure to also update to the newest version of the TouchOSC Editor at https://hexler.net/touchosc#downloads
If you enjoy the app and would like to see more free updates and continued development, please consider leaving a review! Thank you!
