Review from Jim Bowers
Great barometer app! Very clean, simple, and easy to use...just what I was looking for to help with my migraine data. Thank you to the developer!!
Really like the graphic display. For 5 stars I would like to see a choice between SLP and station pressure and to easily toggle back and forth between them. To do the computations for SLP from station pressure right now in the settings it asks for your elevation. As far as I know I believe it should be possible to use GPS to get elevation to do the necessary computations and also display elevation and automate the process. It also asks for your usual ambient temperature. ideally you also need the average virtual temperature although a standard atmosphere could be assumed. You ask for the usual ambient temperature. If you really want to automate the process you could pull that data off the internet. My honeywell wifi thermostat when I set it up asked for my zip code. It uses that to get the outside temperature finding the nearest airport. For me I believe it's hitting Scott AFB (BLV). Meteorologist (retired)
This app verifies my back pain! I have more pain when the pressure drops rapidly than rises rapidly. The chart history is awesome! I didn't realize the pressure differential of my position was as much as 12 mb from the weather stations.
Helps me track my headaches.. the barometer drops my headaches spike.. excellent tool!
It is doing what I need - to track air pressure correlation to my tinnitus spikes. Thanks.
Simple is best, reports barometric pressure in the unit of your choice, & has a histogram of 4 or 5 days.
Got the Battery app so trying his Barometer app. Does what it says it will... Impressive
