Out of all the pomodoro timer apps this is the only one I could find that lets you manually edit and add sessions, which makes it stand out and much more useful than others. The only problem is the fact that the log doesn't show the total amount of minutes spent working. Adding that feature would make it truly perfect.
Good points and bad. Ability to change length of work time and breaks is good. Recording to log is very poor: if you end a period before time is up it just doesn't get logged, makes the whole logging business useless.
There are multiple apps like this (pomodoro method), but after trying as many as I could find, this is the one I'm settling on. Key features for me were: stats and graphs of my work, short and long breaks, ability to customize times. Features I didn't know I wanted: a coordinating web app, a "goal" screen for the week, tags for type of work (color coded!), ability to log an extra work session. The one thing it doesn't have is lock screen functionality: to start a new block, I have to unlock my phone. Other ones I used could be controlled from their notification on the lock screen. But the ability to use the web app mitigates the annoyance. I don't need to use my phone, I use the web app instead (but my stats are still all on my phone). My one complaint with how it actually works is that I have to tap an orange button twice to start my next block. (Maybe it could change color?) And I often miss the second tap and then find out later it never started. But at least I can log a session manually!
This app does not record my sessions. I will update this review once this app is working again properly. Edit: It used to work before even if im not online. Any chance that this will work offline? (I need this because when im using this app i am turning off my internet so i cannot be distracted by notifications)
Well done, clean ux. No ads and the dev seem to be a nice person. I wish their would be silent notification (screen flash).
Great app, best pomodoro timer on Play store. Would be 5 stars of the Dev added a pause button - for those unavoidable interruptions.
