I absolutely love this app Since I downloaded to my phone my writing productivity has gone up. It has become essential for me. At the moment, the only 2 things I think are missing is a word count and the possibility of saving the app in the SD card. If you put those features on it'd be fantastic!!

Let me give you money This is an awesome app, focussed and to the point. I use it together with the OSX app and sync is a breeze. I just hope that you will monetize on Android soon, so the Android users don't lose this gem.

Strangely laggy. Scrolling lags on a flagship phone. Does not feel native, reinvents the wheel. Finally, Dropbox should not be before Drive on Android. In fact, Dropbox should not even be intruding the interface for most people. Do better, much better.

Very useful for the right person I don't have a use for this app. But I wish I did. I thought I would check it out after hearing about it on the material podcast and wanted to show support for android development. I was very surprised to see what it enables you to do on Android. So if you are in need of the sort of app give this one a try.

Markdown at its best Love this app and use it to write blog posts. Works well on both my NVidia Shield and my Nexus 6. Came over from iOS and was thrilled to find this app in the Google Play Store. Will support via in app purchases when they are available. Spread the word Markdown users!

One of my all-time favorite plaintext/markdown writing tools is now available on Android. I am *thrilled*. I already work on multiple platforms, and I do so almost every day, so why am I happy about iA Writer? Up until now, when I'm stuck in a waiting room or on line, I'll edit with Jotterpad, but while it's good, it's not great, so I'm excited because iA Writer means reliability (I already use it on iOS devices and Mac). In addition (and this is huge for me), I don't have to wait to ship something, since iA Writer can export to docx, pdf, and so forth right from the app. Up to this point, I've had to wait to get back home to ship, and now I don't have to, which is fantastic. I've never had an app on my mobile devices that could do that well. Bonus: Very nice "preview" only one swipe away - another feature I've done without, up to now. In short, I've been able to work on lots of different platforms before, but the options on each platform were in no way equal. They still aren't, but with iA Writer's features, the platforms are much, much closer than they once were.

Thank you for your review. We assume that you are referring to file access in Google Drive. We have improved the Google Drive integration, you should now be able to freely share documents with other apps via Google Drive and access all text files in your Drive.

Worried about users that paid when it wasn't free. I bought this app because I like it and it is great. Now they are making it free and adding in app purchases. I wonder what benefits the few users that initially supported the app will have. I hope it is not just a thank you.

Seems like a second class citizen compares to iOS and OS X version It can't display Vietnamese. The destop app is removed support for Dropbox sync, so it is pretty useless for me.
