Review from Justin Scott
Really? Pay to play? I get that you want to make profits, but it is kind of a rip off that you can only play for so long before you have to buy it. What about the players who can't buy apps because of their parents? This concept makes some people dislike your games because it forces you to buy them to keep playing. You should at least just have one version of the app and put a price on it. I love this game but I am really disappointed that once I got really good, I have to start over and/or buy it. It is a disappointment.
Great, but could be better. The fact that we have reached a point where there is a videogame about making videogames is an amazing one. And this game captures that with its whimsical sprite-based pixel art. And cute in-game jokes. Lots of them. Overall, the game plays out really fun, and cute, with lots of creative freedom. But it could be better. My biggest complaint is that you have to wait for the item guy to come to you. And he only shows up so often. Usually, when you don't have the money you need to buy items. Still, good game.
A very simple concept for a game but extremely fun. My only issue with the game is that because I didn't know how to activate the buttons on the bottom I was very confused as to how to select your game type. I love the indie style graphics. It gives off Pokémon vibes and that's a winning formula in my book. Overall, this is an extremely simple game but also extremely fun. Definitely buying it when I have the money. If you're looking for a good game developer tycoon, look no further this game will give you everything you want. It even has an option to change your game title which some other games don't have.
Managing has never been more fun I like games, so I thought maybe a game about making games would be fun. It is fun. If you were looking for an in depth simulator where you have to deal with HR and the nuances of video game development, you won't get that here. This game is easy to learn and is pretty fun. My puzzle game that featured pirates didn't do so well, but it was still fun. My biggest issue with this game is the 14 character limit for naming the studio and the titles of the games. All the titles I cook up are too long and it really hamstrings my creativity. Otherwise this game is excellent and I'll consider buying the full edition.
Good but... I like this game, only the problem is, they should extend the time a lot more, not in just four game years, and they tell us to just buy the full version. Im not gonna spend $2.50 bucks for a game that allows me to play it forever. In other words, about the game... the game is simple, addictive, fun, smooth, and good graphics. But, please extend the time, just about 30 mins of fun isnt worth it. Next time, think of the gamers that dont pay to play.
Great Game! I started with the Lite version, and I got hooked pretty quickly, so I don't have any complaints with it except for this one minor detail: When I decided to buy the full version, My progress didn't transfer, and I had to start all over again. It was pretty disappointing. Other than that, I think this is a fun and entertaining concept for an app!
Great game - but no landscape?! Played through all the demo, and loved it. Nice little one. Except for not having landscape mode - and from what I read on the internet, this isn't the only game from Kairo that has this problem - aside from Beastie Bay, and even so you need to purcahse landscape. I'd buy a full version of this one if it had landscape mode - it really gets to me to play on portrait on my Shield Tablet =/
