Great resource for learning kanji But the meanings for the kanji is sometimes unclear, having to unlock new kanji is a pain.

Respectable Mentoring Program Thankfully it was developed with novice apprenticeships in mind.

Perfect for studying I'm trying to skip jp 2 to go onto jp 3, and this apps really helps me study! There's a function where you can create your own study set and its really helped me.

Useful I am learning with this. I actually wish it didn't award me so easily so I could get more practice before learning another word or set.

Great for premade sets, nearly impossible to make your own I was loving the app until I tried to make my own study sets based on the kanji ised in Genki. Its nearly impossible to choose the kanji you want to learn (and are thus less familiar with) by looking through 2000 kanjis. A system to search kanjis by meaning or simply paste kanjis to add them to a study set would be much appreciated.
Very good app for practicing stoke order My only suggestion is please add the ability to show meaning AND reading on the canvas, it makes no sense to have to have only one or the other. Also it's easy to accidentally touch the edge of the screen and fail a drawing. You should add an option to ignore touches that are obviously nowhere near the character outline. Also the outline for 慣 is wrong and you get " mistake" for drawing it correctly. Stoke order for 穫 is wrong
Good Idea - interface issues I find this app quite good in most respects. It is simple, and gets the job I want done, mostly. However, when constructing user defined "study sets" adding/removing kanji is a extremely frustrating process. They must be selected from, or deselected from, a list that with an ordering that is highly confusing and results in hunts for individual kanji that can take many minutes. Additionally, you cannot select multiple sets at a time, and the testing environment could use some improvements.
Very useful, really helping with Kanji My biggest, and perhaps only qualm, is that drawing with my thumb isn't always very precise. I occasionally get a character "wrong" because I was slightly off the line, went just a little long, or crossed barely over another line. I would love to see the ability to turn off the lines, and have to draw the character from memory, but I understand how difficult drawing recognition would be if that were the case.
