Great App. I have just downloaded your Tap Tap app onto my HTC Desire C, having read every similar programme and all the reviews I kept coming back to Tap Tap. I have to report after a few minutes reading the instructions on the set up I found it was easy to configure. The Screen Off button is quick and responsive, a double tap on the phones proximity sensor (which is about 5mm to right of the HTC logo on the phone) opens the screen immediately. I would recommend this app to friends but to take a moment to read the instructions first. Great app, very pleased with it, thanks to the developers.
This app runs very well....about 80% of the time. The trick is to take the app off task killers...android assistant etc. Very well and very good concept but could use a little bit more of an update. Make it more sensitive to taps to the proximity sensor. But other than that very good. My power button broke so this is an amazing app and it has helped me. If there was a paid version with better response...I'd pay for it.
Works Great So Far Took a few minutes with the trainer but I hit my stride and now it's working very well. Amazing to not have to use the button every time I want to pause music at work! We'll see if battery is hit at all but loving it so far. (Nexus 4)
Drains battery like crazy Okay so I was happy when I found this app cause I wanted to save my power button from being broken down. So I installed it noticed that the battery life of my phone started to decrease drastically. I was able to use my phone for a whole day without charging but since after getting this app, my phone needs to be charged after 4 hours. Checked battery usage and this app uses 54% of the battery. Would give it 5 stars if you're able to figure out whats wrong as well as make the sensor more sensitive.
Magic I feel like a magician now!! :) A wave of your hand is all you need to wake up your phone or put it to sleep.. Wonderful app. People who have not rated it 5.. They have probably not figured out how to use it yet.. :p
Some notes... 2013 Nexus 7 doesn't have proximity sensor so I will try this on my Galaxy S2 and update my rating. Maybe add other sponsor options for wake for users that don't have prox sensor. :-) Uninstalling is a little different. I went to the regular android app/settings/ uninstall menu first and was puzzled that I could not uninstall, clear data, etc. It's clear when you open the app back up and it shows an option to must hit first before to can uninstall. I had just missed it during the install.
