I like how everything is setup easy to use. It's fun to play along with. It's more like a game instead of actual practice. Since downloading this app, I've practiced every day, which is a lot more than I ever had before. Being able to slow the tempo really helps to learn. I like the practice area for cords as well. A great addition is the links to the videos on YouTube for those whom wish a bit more instruction or song variations. However, you can also learn much by simply using the app. Great for beginners or those that need a refresher course. Thanks for the perfect guitar app.
Had a guitar when I was 10, just bought one last week and finding this app very useful. Good amount of songs and ability to slow tempo to them, change or silence strumming guide, drum guide, metronome, keyboard is great for learning. You get a 5 day trial, you'll know within that whether this is for you or not. Many thanks Justin, I'm thoroughly enjoying your tuition.
Honestly probably the best app for beginners to learn a lot of songs very quickly with minimal effort. Basically if you learn off the basic guitar chords you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll be able to learn a lot of your favourite songs. The only things fault It for are the tuner seems unable to recognise the G string. It thinks that it's either the A or high E string. I have tested against tuner apps and there is definitely a problem with the built in tuner here. Secondly it starts asking you to pay a subscription to keep using the app very early on after only learning the basic. Lastly the songs that are 2 chords that weren't locked in the beginning shouldn't be then restricted to 29 secs of like the more advanced options. I found it put me off wanting to pay a subscription. Also I am hesitant about paying a subscription because of the wording it makes it sound like you would have full access to app and will have to pay more again for other options. I could be wrong but that's the impression I got from reading the terms
Picked my guitar up after 8 years of collecting dust after downloading this app. I actually understand more after 2 days of watching "Justin", than I did in those 8 years. Hats off.
Justin Sandercoe has a Grade A website for learning the guitar and the app released to supplement it is of the exact same quality. He goes slowly and methodically, giving patient and thorough instruction. Out can get tedious at times if you already know some of what he's teaching, but its well worth the listen and chances are of you're at his website or downloaded his app you want good instruction given right.
As a complete novice this app is amazing. My only criticism is that now I'm competent on the chords featured in the app I'm left wanting more content for the next set of chords. I have the beginners song book but I find it so much easier to learn using the app. Any thoughts about introducing additional chords?
