Almost perfect Lightweight and quickly loads without pestering advertisements. Easy to navigate and read. The only thing is that the developers, with the latest update, removed the "read in another language" link at the bottom of the article. I found this very helpful in cross-referencing people's names in other languages. Please bring this back within the next update, if it's not too much.
Fantastic app - well recommended This app allows you to search not only in Wikipedia, but in a large number of specialist wikis depending on the topic. The detail in the other wikis is insane, it's literally everything you would ever want to know about a particular subject / universe. Very useful and user friendly.
Minor problems The app is nearly perfect and super lightweight but I wish I could add certain wikis to my favorites so that I don't have to search for them each time I was visit them. The "recently visit" section helps but isn't enough. Also, this happens in every page I visit: The text fits my screen perfectly but there's always a screen-width's worth of empty space on the right which becomes visible whenever I accidentally scroll right while I'm trying to scroll down.
Mostly great It's missing one crucial feature: a link to jump from one Wikipedia (e.g. English) to the same article in another language (e.g. Japanese).
Great but Why was the link to other languages removed? I live outside my home country and used the app constantly to link articles to my friends.
Great Just downloaded it and I think this is the app I'll be using for Wiktionary, since the official 'app' for Wiktionary is crap.
- several bug fixes
- more wikis
- pull to refresh articles
