Almost perfect Lightweight and quickly loads without pestering advertisements. Easy to navigate and read. The only thing is that the developers, with the latest update, removed the "read in another language" link at the bottom of the article. I found this very helpful in cross-referencing people's names in other languages. Please bring this back within the next update, if it's not too much.
Fantastic app - well recommended This app allows you to search not only in Wikipedia, but in a large number of specialist wikis depending on the topic. The detail in the other wikis is insane, it's literally everything you would ever want to know about a particular subject / universe. Very useful and user friendly.
Almost perfect... I use this extensively for video games because other wikia official apps are bloated app. Why make individual apps for different wiki? But sadly it seems we are not able (yet) to add custom wikis. Would be glad if this feature added.
Minor problems The app is nearly perfect and super lightweight but I wish I could add certain wikis to my favorites so that I don't have to search for them each time I was visit them. The "recently visit" section helps but isn't enough. Also, this happens in every page I visit: The text fits my screen perfectly but there's always a screen-width's worth of empty space on the right which becomes visible whenever I accidentally scroll right while I'm trying to scroll down.
Intensive list here and could really play to its advantage over other wiki readers: add a quick "search page in other wiki" maybe in the save, share popup on link menus or as autofill title in search page. Need quick collapse of categories in wiki site list, dimmer text colors in dark mode, all wiki results return in search maybe add quick collapse per site, and custom margins for text. Liking save vs share (unexpectedly entertaining animation), history of both browsed and reading panel, and how category titles pin to top as subheading.
Unfortunate bug where loading a page with a long list makes the app freeze. And because it remembers the last page, not even killing it helps
- several bug fixes
- more wikis
- pull to refresh articles
