This app works very well for me, I love the ability to customize the timers for my own schedule. Very simple, does its job well. One bug though: when in "clock" mode, (not the widget) and "Hide controls after 15s" is enabled, touching the screen somehow doesn't count as "activity" and doesn't bring the controls back, even though I would expect it to. This forces me to rotate the phone around to get them back. I'd also suggest adding the Stop/Skip buttons as an option to the widget (couldn't find how to do this, am assuming that feature isn't present yet).
Best Pomodoro app It's extremely customizable. I'm very picky with productivity apps, but this is easily the best one out there. A bit lacking in user-friendliness, but all in all, incredibly useful and has tons of tools for thorough organization and keeping track of time with the option of breaking it down per task. What it lacks in GUI it more than makes up for in usefulness, once you get the hang of it. Would recommend upgrading to the pro version.
Best one so far The visual UI is simple - in a good and bad sense. It's easy to use, despite what I can see would be challenging instructions. But it's decipherable. Best program I've found thus far, and things like being able to set your own notification sound set it apart. Tasker integration is great. Again, interface is lacking - could use a new skin. The latest version seems to have improved in that area. Only tech issue I found was sometimes notifications fail. Otherwise it's worked effectively.
Clockwork tomato is the best pomodoro app there is, hands down. It works perfectly out of the box, but it is extremely customizable. You can change the duration of each part of the pomodoro, determine whether you want to extend a section or move on to the next one, and even set different sounds for each section of a pomodoro. Most importantly, it tracks the pomodoros you make and gives you statistics on your productivity. The only thing that I would add is the option to track distractions too, like Flat Tomato on iOS. I highly recommend this, and even more the extension pack (it's cheap and it adds profiles and the ability to keep todos).
Best pomodoro app The interface is clean and well thought out, the developers are quick to reply to emails regarding issues. The chief thing I like is that it integrates with my Todo.txt workflow as weds as providing Tasker bindings to let me automate my device EXACTLY as I want from pomodoro events. Overall a wonderful app
Looks nice, widget broken The app looks very nice and does what it should. I like the fact that it keeps a log, too. But on Cyanogenmod 13, a Marshmallow firmware, the widget does not appear in the widget picker. Not sure if that is true for all Marshmallow firmwares.
• Fixed: Chime sounds not listed in the notification sound picker
