I haven't played in 20 years so books aside, it's been great using this to catch up as relearn everything from tuning to scales. I trained in DCYOP for 6years and continued practicing for the next 11 until I lost my cello. I sounded like beginner after 20 years. This has been really helpful. Thanks! May I suggest adding bass note reading, scales, arpeggios and fine tuning the tuner or tone for electric cellos? Idk if it's that but Idk if you did either. Keep it up!

The practice sessions are fundamentally good and I would love to see this taken further. More intuitive and simple button layout, more challenges, and maybe even position (thumb to fourth finger suggestions). Above all, though, I think the practice session would improve significantly by naming "B flat" above each appropriate note. I am new to this clef and don't know what any of the note names are. Without this name, all I do is memorize the finger position with the note. Also, a practice session that tests *all* notes would be extremely useful instead of just limiting it to certain scales.

This is a good tuner with self-guided tutor that improved my intonation and note accuracy, just as Jonathan described in his YouTube channel of same name. Tuner has just enough detail for cello. All tuner apps that I've tried have trouble with C string, but muting other strings with a light touch solves that. I rarely use my clamp-on gadget. Been using it for 2 years on various devices of different makers, and it worked well on each.
