Valuable Judo Reference As a non Japanese speaker it is difficult for me to remember all the names and terms used in judo. Additionally, this app is great to show u step by step how to execute effective throws etc. Also nice is the 'Banned' moves by grade, if u seriously use Judo for self defence - if u wanna break ur attacker, and not merely take him down, this is useful. Don't practice banned moves in practice or competition because you will hurt someone, save them for the criminals. I love this app.
Cool I love the app. It's a great reference. I wish it had judo history as well, but I love what's there
Great app for a Judoka Love this app. I myself do Judo, along with BJJ and this app helps me practice my throws and other grappling techniques when im not at practice. I however would prefer a video over a slide show, to be honest. But still slides help a lot and If u do judo like me get this app if u want to perfect your Nage Waza and Katame Waza for judo
Good quick reference It could use a tweak here and there on some of the visual technique but all around good and awesome for a fast change of idea.
Good basic reference I like most everything about this app. The only real point of criticism I could offer would be to have ACTUAL video of the techniques rather than the picture slideshows. For many of them, had I not seen them real-time, I wouldn't have been able to work through the progression. While there are YouTube videos available through the app, they don't coincide with the techniques.
Great for memorization Shows you how to do each move. But there shouldn't be a read belt before a yellow belt, and some of the throws say they're banned but under the USJA I don't believe they are banned. Over all a great help!
