Great app to remind you when and what to put out on pick up day. Especially useful after holidays change your scheduled day. Edit: it'll send a reminder the day before but it'll only work for a few weeks and then stop. So you have to reinstall the app over and over again. And you only notice that it's not working when you've missed a pick up for the week. Very frustrating!!

I solely rely on this app for figuring out which weeks include garbage pickups and which don't, as well as the dates. The notifications are concise and don't bug you with irrelevant information, I rarely have the need to open the app itself. It has other handy features like a search function for items when you're unsure how to dispose of them, but I don't use them and thus can't accurately evaluate them. Personally, I'm happy with the app.

It's clear from all the recent reviews that notifications do not work for anyone and have not for over a year. I've done multiple reports of the issue on the app, tried all their troubleshooting, reinstalled it, etc. Clearly no one at the city or at recollect cares, and frankly it's embarrassing. There is no other point in having this app, I now use the paper calendar we get in the mail more than this app. I'll be uninstalling. Maybe we'll see improvement with a new municipal government.
