Good but annoying If you love to write and plan on making books then this is a good app for you. The only problem that I have is that whenever I edit a book the app just locks up. Literally even if I change one little detail and try to back out to the main menu or flip pages the app won't let me. Now I don't know if it's a problem with the app running on android kitkat or my Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 having issues with it, but it would be nice if the developer would fix this issue.
Potential but falls short I like the idea behind the app but the execution is questionable. The tools are too limited. Images can't be rotated or flipped, text formatting is about as basic as it gets, color selection looks like it was made for a 10 year old. I also couldn't preview my book using the full screen real estate of my Nexus 9 resulting in a presentation that was uninspiring and unreadable. The last straw is the glitch that causes the app to freeze and then crash. Fail. I still give it 2*, 1 for providing the tools however limited and buggy and a second for the potential if updated to actually work. Google has not provided e-book creation tools which is suspect in itself. Kudos to the developer for at least trying to do so.
Limited tools Rotate image, copy-paste, edit image, more color swatches, more fonts etc. tools are needed.
Needs more tools. I have this app on my android tablet and and it is amazing although it needs more tools, such as colour and fonts. (Also there are more tools on the ios version but not on the android version). Love this app, but needs a new update with more things :)
Crashes constantly Love this app on iOS but constantly crashes losing student work. No export to PDF feature either
Not happy Adding a pic to a book, but without any cropping or editing how is that possible. Adding Sound to a page Sud at least play as soon as you turn the page but fail here too. Tools like cam scanner can do much better job. Can please add these few features and get the remaining stars, otherwise please return what I paid.
You can now share books to eReader apps from the share menu.
(note not all eReaders will display fixed layout books correctly, we recommend Gitden Reader)
