Hate the ads It's not perfect but it's the best news app i found until now, but the ads are too intrusive
AdsHog Pop up ads are one thing, but when every 4th item in my news feed is a sponsored link, the fine line between tolerable and downright annoying has been well and truly crossed. It's a shame because it was a great little app before the last update...
Excellent coverage, links, subdivisions and user interface. Replaces the pulse which I use to love before their new awkward interface. Thx so much for a worthy app that has great diverse appeal and usability.
Live photo news headline widget updates. Just needs to add "next" & "previous" buttons on the screen widget and perfect! I like the photos & news blurb headlines & just wish they would let me scroll from the widget. Otherwise awesome app.
Obtrusive ads and irrelevant stuff abound I've rated this 2 stars... downrated from 3 for the obnoxious between-article ads in channel lists. I'd rate it higher, but for two things... absence of a "blacklist" to filter out irrelevant junk (for me, Apple, Bieber, Kardashian, Hollywood, sports, etc.) and inability to view an article in landscape tablet-mode without the left-pane article list taking up 40% of the screen.
Ads every few headlines I'd pay for an ad free version. These kind of ads at this frequency is really bad. Plus it's really really dishonest that it's not clear in the update. I value honesty, I'll pay honest people for their hard work. But this... Uhh sad.
