Review from Iam
i dont know what the heck ppl is thinking when they give lower than 5 star, for good sake ppl.. hands down! this is the best cam app ever! NO freaking ads no nonsense just purely tech n the best part is.. its free. To the devs, I would like to say Thank You.. you deserve 5 star all day long!
Though I loved your app and even installed it as system app, I have mixed experiences. It captures decent photographs, better than my stock camera app on Moto E3 Power but it lags on many places like camera animation on switching between portrait and landscape modes. Make camera settings hidden which can be opened by sliding on the left side of the screen, so that the lag is not noticeable. Also the quick settings are not working immediately after opening app, this was not the issue earlier, this is happening after installing custom notification shade (Material), when I draw shade for a moment I can use settings. I don't know what to do? Help?
It works with few (minor) glitches and those eventually go away with the next version. I use it both to record video and occasionally for still photos. Best feature for me is limits on max length & file size with auto restart making files easy to upload to YouTube. Can record directly to a micro SD card saving phone memory. Lightweight and small yet loaded with features. It just works ! Puppy Linux users understand what I mean.
This app has potential. But has to solve some of the problems first. Picture i see before taking a photo comparing to photo taken is different (exposure is different).Final photo is always darker somehow. And i think autofocus does not support macro, instead there is a separate button for makro focus which i dislike.
Recording using USB microphone and OTG cable results in corrupted and not saved file. Using S7 edge with latest 7.0 update and rock band microphone, if support can be added I will gladly test it.
I see strange behavior with the shutter speed... When ISO is 1505 shutter goes to 1/15s, then with ISO 1600 it goes back up to 1/17s. Can you fix this problem? Shutter should stay on 1/24s until max ISO is reached, then it should start to lower. Other than that all good.
Great amount of features but sadly doesn't take as good a picture as stock camera on pixel2. Im assuming its because the stock camera's image processing software (by Google) is better. Hard to compete with the big G software dev resources. Stock camera sucks for features though..
Fixed some crashes.
Problems with alignment of some dialogs in portrait mode on some devices (possibly an Android 8 issue).
On-screen face icon displayed when face detection is enabled.
