Doesn't save custom port #, would be nice if it had notification Like the title says....port keeps reverting to 80. Would be nice if alert or email option were available in case of downed server. UPDATE AFTER 1 WEEK OF USE: many false readings. Unreliable.
Excellent app! By far the best app for viewable ping results. Preconfigure IP addresses with different protocols. You can pick the length of the ping timeout and the port to ping to. Next best thing is you can setup separate widgets to separate your connections. Been using it for over 3 years now from android 2.3 all the way to 4.4.
Great app. Needs SSL support. Works great and I often know my if my site is down before my web-host does. However, my most important site forces an SSL connection and always shows up as offline with the widget.
Very good app Overall a very good app, the widget sits nicely on the phone and it all seems to work quite well. There are a couple of wrinkles however...if you are polling using ECHO make sure that the machine is on the local subnet, otherwise it doesn't seem to work. Jumping on and off a vpn can also confuse it so be careful with that one. Finally I have found that checking the status of windows boxes on pushed vpn routes using echo fails (although since linux machine work this way I suspect Windows may be to blame here). My set up is a little complicated and perhaps a lot these problems are edge cases for most users. I do recommend this app highly
Great application This is a cool small app. Worked perfectly over xmas period monitoring our webserver. The widget is perfect I didn't once get a call nor have to manually check our servers are up. A must have app for sysadmins
Excellent!! App Is excellent! Bravo dude! This did exactly what I needed it to do. Widget is perfect. You might want to add optional features for Notifications on server failures :) But 5 stars man. greeeeeat!
- add: timeout of update widgets (in app preferences)
- add: widget with sizes 1x2
- fix: app crash after database opening
