Doesn't work on Huawei... The background process is killed by the operating system and the app isn't set up to recover from that. Other apps like WeChat work fine in the background. I've extremely carefully verified that all of the special Huawei battery management/background app permissions are permitting pushover to run, but it dies in the background after a few hours and never restarts. Not cheap. Haven't noticed many updates. Doesn't work at all for me.
I'm using this in combination with PHPMonitor so I know when one of my websites is down and it's good. The combination of the two is FAR cheaper than the Wormly Monitoring or other paid services I used to use and seems more enjoyable. I love the acknowledge push message functionality. Saves getting the same announcement repeatedly :-)
It's simple and it does what it should do. No unnecessary bells and whistles. It's quick, too. I get my custom notifications without delay.
I haven't been able to make work the notification on Android Galaxy S8+, I tried on iPhone 7 and work very good. I don't know if uninstall and install again can solve the issue.
Good app, does exactly what it says but it is quite expensive in my eyes. Still there are no other services like it that support my application
Not effective. Never received any msg on time
- Add an option to limit the number of lines shown per message in the message list
The Samsung push service provides the notification service on Samsung devices.
