Almost Perfect Still have the TI85 I got in high school in '92, but it has a dead horizontal line of pixels. This is much handier since I always carry my phone and/or tablet. Works flawlessly on my HTC Incredible. On my Asus TF700T Infinity it hangs (frozen with non-blinking cursor) about 30% of the time when I open it. Tried reinstalling and it didnt help. Sometimes have to force close and reopen several times before it works. Hopefully dev has an idea for a fix. Love it nonetheless
Works great! Performs as it should. 2 Things though... Any chance of this app supporting OS updates? As of this review TI-83+ OS has gone through 7 updates and is now quite different from what it was before. Also, it would be great if users could just specify the directory of the roms instead of it searching through all the directories. Great work though :) Thanks!
It's a TI-86 Would not find the ROM when on the sd card of my S5. Tried several times. Finally copied file to root directory of the phone and it now works flawlessly...using the file on the sd card. Yup, in settings it shows the ROM on both the sd card and the phone and the sd card ROM is selected. Besides the wonkiness of the ROM it's really nice having a TI-86 on my phone and I suggest going into settings of the app and getting rid of the black border. A bit easier to use if you've got sausage fingers like me. Another fyi, a used TI-86 costs under $50 now. Just bought one tonight and there's lots of them there for that price.
Vibration too long Let us change the haptic duration as it is way too strong on my phone. Also, sliding finger across the buttons shouldn't trigger all of them. Removing more empty space to make the calculator display larger would be welcome on small screen devices. Finally, a faster emulation option would be great so the calculator isn't limited in cpu speed.
Almost perfect This is a great app, but my one problem with it is that when you put your finger down and slide it, every button you slide over gets pressed. It should only press one button for one touch of the finger on the screen. I don't think it's my rom, but I'll re-rate 5 stars if it is.
It might work but... First you have to find the TI rom you're looking for. Not a huge deal. You have to place the file on the root of any of your SD cards (internal or external). Then you go into settings and select your rom. The only problem is that the "cannot find rom" message that covers half the screen doesn't go away. Even after you're booted into and using the calculator.
