Are you playing with Foursquare or with Facebook places but it's too far to drive? Find this places on the map and add them to your favorites.
Rooted users can run Fake GPS without setting "Allow mock location" option. To do that you should move "com.lexa.fakegps.apk" from "/data/app" to "/system/app" (use root explorer for that), set permission to rw-r--r-- and reboot your handset. On Android 4.4 you should move apk to "/system/priv-app" folder
+++ IMPORTANT +++:
1. You should DISABLE "Use wireless networks" options in Location settings of your phone to avoid an issue with keeping faked location even AFTER STOPPING THE APP.
2. Always run FakeGPS BEFORE running other apps to be faked otherwise they will use the default GPS sensor instead of FakeGPS's
If you find any issue - please feel fre to contact me

It is currently not the intention of this App to change the behaviour of the car dock mode.
Some HTC phones have HTC Locations installed and force you to use it prior to Google Maps or other maps.
So this App is relevant only for such HTC phones with HTC locations installed. On other devices it just doesn’t anything.
Devices: HTC One X, HTC One S, HTC Sensation, HTC Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire S
The App cannot be started manually. It is just registered to intercept the start of HTC locations under certain conditions.
It does not consume battery or resources.
HTC Locations can still be used if desired.
On first use (open a location in contacts or calendar) you are prompted to select either Location Picker (HTC) or Skip HTC Locations.
If you check the checkbox for “use by default” and select Skip HTC Locations you will not be prompted again for this selection.
You can directly select between Google Maps or other installed map applications instead.
To undo the default selection, go to the Application settings of your phone, select this App and press the “Clear defaults” button.
'where was I?' is an automatic diary, based on your locations. Doesn't your life get so busy that you simply lose track of all the places you've been? Do you promise yourself to keep tabs in your journal but always let it slide after a few weeks? Read on - we have the answer!
'Where Was I?' is a new kind of location tracker that is designed to always run in the background with minimal impact on the battery.
Where Was I? collects interesting stats about all the places you've been! You can point to a place on the map and the date and time where you were last there just pops up. How long where you there? Where did you go next? What on earth did you do two Saturday's ago? In short ... where does the time go and what are you doing with it?
Start using 'Where Was I?' today and get a grip on your life!
This is not a path tracker like 'MyTracks'! The GPS is only turned on at selected intervals.
'Where was I?' keeps your data stored locally! We don't transmit your data anywhere.
Define important locations by long pressing "locations" in the browser. The more information you add, the more interesting the statistics will become.
After installation, please give the app some time to collect locations. It may take a day or two until 'where was I?' unveils it's full power.
- tracks your whereabouts and keeps your data private
- tracks the cell towers you've used
- export your data to google earth
- always on, starts on boot
- works beautifully with latitude: If you use latitude, you get much more data if 'Where Was I?' runs.
Please read below for an explanation of the permissions used:
INTERNET: This is necessary for reverse geocoding. (i.e. finding out the address of a location.)
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: location tracking is much faster and far more reliable with wifi switched on. 'where was I?' needs to be able to switch on WiFi while updating the location.
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: is used to set the wifi state back.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: used to start service if device has been restarted.
WAKE_LOCK: We need to hold a wake lock to reliably track in the background.
--Find the address corresponding to GPS coordinates
--Latitude, longitude and address of any point on the map

Normally, software on your Android device determines your location from individual GPS readings. This is fine if your are interested in getting your location to within about 10 meters. However, it is possible to do better than this if you average many readings at a particular location.
This app is designed to do just that -- average many readings of a stationary Android device to get a more accurate location; it actually calculates a weighted average, accounting for the accuracy of each reading. The trade-off is time. You will need to wait a least a few minutes to get a high accuracy average location.
'Precision GPS Pro' displays the following information on the main screen:
-remaining battery power readout (%),
-current latitude, longitude and (corrected - see below) elevation,
-PDOP, HDOP, VDOP values,
-number of GPS satellites in view,
-number of GPS satellites employed in fixing location,
-signal-to-noise ratio of signal from each satellite,
-accuracy of the current readings,
-weighted average (mean) latitude, longitude and (corrected - see below) elevation,
-graph of the current latitude and longitude (white connected points), the average value (red dot) and a scale box (green),
-'status' of app - either 'Idle', 'waiting, 'searching', or 'working',
-sky plot of active satellite positions,
-option to choose format of displayed coordinates,
-'maps' button to send average coordinates to a mapping app, such as 'Google Maps.'
The 'reset' and 'save' buttons are inactive while readings are being taken. They can be used after the 'stop' button is pressed. If the measurements are stopped and then started again without pressing the 'reset' button, then only the 'elapsed time' value is reset.
The latitude and longitude values are shown on the graph. North is up and east is to the right, as on a map. The graph automatically rescales to include the extreme values of longitude and latitude each time it updates the graph (every four seconds in fastest data acquisition mode).
The green 'scale box' is 2 meters on a side. It will not always have a square shape, since the graph scaling for latitude is not necessarily the same as the graph scaling for longitude. During the early rounds, sometimes only a portion of the scale box is visible; this occurs when the displayed ranges of latitude and longitude are very small.
The elevation is corrected to the EGM96 geoid. This provides absolute accuracy in elevation just under one meter.
A 'settings' screen provides options to keep the screen continuously on while the app is running, change the interval between measurements (in minutes, with a minimum of 1 minute), choose the language (English, French, Spanish, or German), choose the elevation units (meters or feet), choose whether to allow the app to run in the background, and choose which format to display the coordinates. There is also a button to reset the saved measurements, which can be viewed on the 'history' screen.
When the 'save' button is pressed, the date, time, and average coordinates are also copied to the clipboard.
Note, when you change the 'background run' status on the settings screen, you must restart the app for this change to take effect.
Localization language support is provided for French, German and Spanish.
Applications of 'Precision GPS Pro' include navigation, geocaching, prospecting, emergencies, surveying a property, observational astronomy, and archaeology.
