Fun and easy I haven't really found anything quite as good for Android. I like most of its features. Its interface reminds me of systems like Fruity Loops or Rebirth, and it's fairly straight forward, fun, and easy to use. End user support exists and has been helpfully human when I needed it. This is not my main studio, but it is so handy for catching ideas when away from the instruments. My only real wish for pocketband: include features like variable tempo and time signatures.
Just an idea Really wish i could install this to my Chromebook :( I was thinking just a simple addition to this app would make a great improvement as far as the transitioning goes. There should be a feature for recorded tracks that lay over existing tracks during a transition. Let's say if you have loops 1, 2, and 3 all set in order, all for one measure and you want to record a track over all three of them simultaneously; simply select an "omniloop" or whatever you want to call it and it'll record over all 3 loops. Just something to think about maybe. One of many ideas.
Almost perfect I absolutely love this app! My only real complaint is that the playback needs to be able to read in blocks of less than 4 measures. Some of my songs have parts that are only 1 or 2 measures and it insists on repeating them to make them 4 measures, which screws up the whole song. Plus it'd make repeating identical measures much easier. Please fix that. Also, if you could make it so that your songs stay on your workspace after they're published, that'd be great. Otherwise, awesome!
Perfect. This app is am addictive tool that enables any composer's abilities to soar. With a friendly interface and collaborative features, it is a place to learn and grow as a musician and songwriter. Sure, it has a couple flaws, but they can easily be worked around. $10 is definitely worth it for pro. Disclaimer: Made for EDM. Guitarists and singers may experience difficulty. Triplets not included.
Sucks Can't upload anything longer than 8 seconds which is dumb. The loop system sucks let me work on one for 3 mins so I can upload a beat to it and actually rap to it and not having to keep going on different loops. Don't buy unless you want to waste your money.
A must have for anybody writing music on the go After playing with the free app for a few hours, I knew I had to buy it and I don't regret a single cent spent. The paid app is seemingly limitless in what it has to offer, however it would be nice to see; more time signature options, the ability to hold notes from one phrase into another, and a way to make phrases shorter than four bars. Besides these few minor things, I couldn't find much to be unhappy with as hard as I tried. The social aspect is unique and the coolest feature I've seen in any DAW app.
