WillPower is a flexible yet a strong tool that helps you take control over your digital detox and lets you focus on important personal, being it family time or studying, and business matters when you’d prefer to not be distracted.
- Instant timer. Blocks the phone in the way you customize.

- Manage exceptions – allow/block calls and notifications from specific users or apps. Create your “white” list of apps and contacts that are critical to you. Be productive.
- Apps usage limits
Track and limit the usage of specific apps you find most distracting. Once you are about to hit the limit the app will notify you. This feature is especially useful should you share your device with your teenager kids.
- Usage monitoring.
Get to know yourself. You might be surprised to find out how you use your phone. With the instant calendar you can track your digital habits in the past, get reports on your progress and based on that take deliberate decisions how you want to go on managing your quality time.
- Create and customize user profiles. Manage your schedules and apps/calls/notifications permissions for each profile individually.
Strong motivation based on in-app currency spend. Every user will get some free currency (Initial balance + Facebook users + Early adopters) Besides, users will have the opportunity to refill the balance by watching rewarded video ads and later on (under development) by sharing their in-app achievements. In-app purchases will be also available.
Tips and recommendations
“Minutes” is the in-app currency you use when you set time limits, go to DND mode, etc. Users can earn them in many ways: some are given for free to all users, some for free for users who login via Facebook. Users may also get the “minutes” by sharing the WP app on Facebook or watching the rewarded ads. Ultimately, in-app purchases are also available.
If you find some apps especially addictive you may use Limits function available in Main Menu. Select an app and set the daily or weekly usage limit. Please make sure you have enough “minutes” on your balance account.
You may also apply the app limit for App groups (go to Main Menu - Settings). You can create and edit App groups (i.e. Games, Messengers, Social Networks) and set the limit entirely for that group.
Enable Instant Timer (available in Statistics menu) whenever you need to unplug in a blink of an eye. You can still manage some restrictions: allow calls and notifications and add some apps into white list.
Create Profiles (go to Main Menu - Profiles) related to your specific digital behaviour patterns. Manage your own white lists and restrictions.
Create Scheduled Timers (go to Main Menu - Scheduled Timers) in case you are able to plan your “do not disturb” schedule long in advance. Use pre-set Profiles and schedule specific days and time. Please make sure you have enough minutes on your balance to let the timer start. In case you need to refill your balance you will be notified.
Excepted apps (go to Main Menu - Settings). You may exclude some apps from tracking should you feel they are irrelevant for your digital behaviour.
Should you want to block any incoming calls or messages from messengers please use “block notifications” button.
Facebook login and sharings. Users who login via Facebook are rewarded (one-time bonus) with 120 minutes. With Facebook sharings users may claim up to additional 10 minutes per day. Users who want to login to their account from multiple devices shall always login via Facebook. On rare occasions when unable to login via Facebook application, please sign-in via browser.
