About this app

This mobile device app is for those who need to track and accurately report their hours worked. It is equally useful for regular hourly workers as well as contractors, lawyers and others that need to report each Job (or task) separately in multi-tasking environments where switching focus from task to task during the day is common or even unavoidable.

TimeTracker from XtraTime lets you define Clients (or projects) and related Jobs (or tasks). You "Clock-In" to start working on the Job of your choice with a single tap of your mobile device screen. Once clocked-in, when you get interrupted by another Job you can quickly clock-out of the current Job and into the new one with another touch of your screen. When finished with the interruption, another tap of the screen takes you back to the first Job, or to yet another different Job as needed.

Whether you do one job, multiple Jobs for multiple Clients, or multiple projects or tasks for one or more Clients (or employers), you can easily track the time spent on all of them separately throughout the day or during evenings and weekends when you get that unexpected call and just have to respond.

A running total of time worked for each Job is maintained and easily accessible. Jobs can be reset and re-used, or deleted as needed. There is a feature in settings to enable (or require) the addition of descriptive commentary to each work session.

You can quickly generate a report of time spent on one Job (task), all Jobs for a given Client, or all Jobs for all Clients.
Time reports can use standard or custom date ranges to limit the report. Reports are generated in .csv file format so they can be easily imported into spreadsheet applications such as Excel for centralized consolidation and reporting by your manager or HR department, and you can configure TimeTracker to email reports upon creation to the same destination or leave it blank to manually enter the recipient email address for each report.

Jobs and Clients can be exported in bulk or generated in Excel for mass import in bulk to accommodate corporate or multi-user environments.
Reports and export files are created in an app-specific sub-folder of your shared "Documents" folder ONLY. You can access the files created by this app as you see fit.
The database of your clients, jobs, and activity remains in an inaccessible protected location (which is deleted if the app is uninstalled).
