Not that bad ! The application is good for checking the bytes or kilobytes that's being used so far. It doesn't have any way of increasing internet speed but Ihave read that someone liked it for the download/upload part. I have tried to go to my search results on google but it was still too slow for my browser to complete the rest of the page to load up. It's still a good app to have but not for me. Sorry !
Interesting app I got throttled this month and wanted to check exactly how much speed I was being throttled at and this app does a good job of conveying that information. The one thing that would make this better is a legend of what the red vs. blue line mean. By tracking Pandora while it's playing, I found out that Blue is download and Red is upload.
Manipulates ur network Friends beware of this app as it manipulates ur network connection. After I installed it I noticed my 3G & 2G network stopped responding frequently. There was rapid upload happening frm my phone but download was not possible. I think someone was hacking my phone data through this application thatswhy there was upload happening in rapid speed but it was not allowing me to download. Even my phone started to freeze.ONLY AFTER I CLEARED THE Application DATA & UNINSTALLED THIS APP MY PHONE WAS WORKING FINE
Easy to use, but lacks critical complexity Simple and easy to use and understand. The red/blue bar should have a legend to describe which is which. I assumed that red is download and blue is upload. Last but not least, the notification icon is useless. It does not convey additional information other than duplicating the network connection status as shown by Android OS. Please remove it entirely and give options to show only download speed or upload speed or both. Also, what does the "Totals" mean? Top network speed? Or total data downloaded/uploaded? This is dubious. Also, give option to only show either mobile data or wifi data as separate graphs. Mobile and WiFi connection are two separate entities that should never be combined unless for a good, logical and sensible reason.
App is getting crashed in galasy s2 I9100. App is getting crashed in galasy s2 I9100. I am getting status message as 'android killed the service'. And moreover no update is available since long. Please fix it asap and change the interface little bit. Once all is done, I ll rate with 5 stars. Thanks -Mohit
Good job. Gets the job done and its easy to use. It would be nice if theres a history feature to list down the wifi ssid or network along with details (peak download or upload speed, speed history etc). The no permission is great and hope it stays that way.
The app should work better in android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
New permission: RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED is required for the app to start on bootup (it has to be enabled in the app's settings first)
App doesn't ignore the bootup setting anymore.
App doesn't write debug messages to log anymore.
