Best file explorer Best file explorer on google play store I have used many explorer but this is the top and most valuable explorer best/best keep it up
By far the BEST ROOT browser Latest themes aren't the to my liking but I'm speaking with the devs on the beta forums, this seems to be the way of the future. I'll have to adopt and change the way I do things when FX now but still, the best ROOT browser there ever was for Android. I still use this app more than any other app I own. I only dropped a star to 4 because of the new themes. Give me options to retain my older layout and I'll go back to 5 stars. I pay for premium just to support the devs and don't use the premium features.
Changes the date when copying files It is a very nice file explorer. I found it after the ES File Explorer fiasco and I have been using it satisfactorily for several weeks. I was even going to buy the pay plugin! But I have found a very serious issue for me: when you copy a file, the date of the file is changed! That is a no-no for a file explorer! I have written the developer about this but no answer so far. So I am again looking for the definitive file explorer..
So far so good Unlike ES, no ridiculous adware. My review will be 5* so long as this is so. It's also got a better interface imho. To the developer I have to say if you're ever tempted to go the adware route, consider the fact that I'll pay for an app I like. But one that does things I don't want will be removed forever. In app adds are fine, taking over any part of my system is not. Glad you're one of the good guys.
Not sure a bug or else Having a problem with the number sorting. It's pretty hard to explain. Let's say i have 100 image files in one folder, named 1.jpg to 100.jpg. Instead of sorting the files by the greater or lesser value, it sorts like this : 1.jpg 10.jpg 11.jpg-19.jpg 2.jpg 20.jpg and so on. It looks like it prioritizes the first digit into the sorting instead of whole file name. But if I add a 0 onto the front of the file names, it sorts normally. It would be great to see this fixed soon. Other than that, it's a great app!
I can't imagine life without having this app on my Android phone. It's easy to move files around, allows multiple windows to make moving between folders simple, it integrates into cloud storage like it's local storage, it supports "WiFi connect" via the web browser. There's probably a lot more it can do that I just haven't discovered yet. I simply [pun intended] love this app!
Material Design user interface makeover. Added FX Connect to enable wireless transfers of files between devices, and FX Web Access (based on NextApp WebSharing) for computer-device file transfers.
FX 5.0.1: Bugfixes. Music playlist import/export (M3U format). Archive performance improvements/fixes.
