JOW! connects young people with the elderly to undertake meaningful activities, based on the skills and needs of the elderly. These may be elderly people with a need to play a meaningful role for others and who, through the JOW! be given the opportunity to do so. However, linking young and old can also involve companionship, exercise or self-reliance, such as walking in the woods, viewing photo books, playing a game, working with the iPad or watching sports matches together!
