About this app

NL Train Navigator is your travel companion when you travel by train in the Netherlands. It will help you navigate the Dutch railways efficiently, with to-the-point information, whether you are a tourist visiting the Netherlands, or a daily commuter.

🇬🇧 Fully translated in English!
💪 All the information you'll need
🤓 Journey planner, live departure times and service disruptions
🚄 See your train type, and how long your train is (so you know where to sit!)
✅ User friendly and clean design
⚠️ Push notifications for service disruptions

You are immediately notified about service disruptions on your railway lines. Live departure times are available for all railway stations, including information about train length. Finally, the journey planner allows you to plan trips throughout the Netherlands. And best of all: it's free!

NL Train Navigator provides information about all Dutch railway companies: the Dutch national railways (Nederlandse Spoorwegen), NS International, Arriva, Breng, Connexxion, Syntus and Blauwnet. There is also information available about international trains that run through the Netherlands, including Thalys, ICE International, Eurostar and all trains that cross the border with Belgium or Germany.

Do you often depart from the same stations? It's easy to mark a station as favorite, just check the app settings. You can look up stations quickly by entering a part of the name or its abbreviation. The journey planner is also optimized for speed; you can search for the next departing train or find the last train of the day.

NL Train Navigator sends notifications about service disruptions. You can subscribe to service disruptions for your favorite railway lines, so you are notified timely about serious service disruptions on your daily commuter line. You can also choose to disable all notifications.

The app has a user-friendly and modern Android design, and is also fully compatible with tablets.

Hi Jeff, you can remove the ads by clicking the menu icon in the top left part of the screen (the three lines). This will open a menu with an option "Remove ads", which will allow you to buy the ad-free version. Don't hesitate to contact me at if you need additional assistance. :-)

Excellent app. Does what it needs to do without any bells and whistles. Just like it should.

Awesome website. However, app navigation should be improved.
