Ratings and reviews

TLDR: poor quality IT and sluggish customer support, avoid if you need reliability. When it's working, it's a no-frills broker account with basic features which are probably enough for many people. The problem is, their software is buggy and customer support is very slow and unresponsive. I've had many issues, however the last one blocked access to my own money for 3 months! Developers still aren't able to fix it as of now. Search Wikipedia for Degiro if you think I'm the only one having issues.

Overall it's simple and it works. It's a proper stock broker so when you buy a stock you do actually own it, unlike CFD platforms. It doesn't offer any additional information beyond stock price but that can be easily supplemented with other financial websites. One issue I have is that I can't seem invest past 50% of my funds in one transaction. The stop limit order doesn't seem to work either, but the limit order does work every time. Also, because the fees are so low it is very good value.

Good value execution only broker. Exceptionally cheap fees and fx fees put the big boys to shame. In life you generally get what you pay for, if you just want low fee execution these guys are for you. Easy to use app. If you want live prices this is extra fee, but i wouldnt bother, their graphs are rubbish, just use TradingView or similar. If you want detailed portfolio and trade analysis, forget it. Pay more elsewhere. Horses for courses. To improve they should allow debit card deposits.
