Great app!!! I recently bought a Nexus Galaxy phone and unfortunately both the power and 3.5mm jack are on the bottom of this phone, what a poor design, especially for me b/c I set my phone in a holder all day here at my desk, with both things plugged in. I initially was using the phone upside down, so when someone called i would just read the phone upside down and then take the call. I then tried a few searches for a forced rotation and BAM, found this app. I tried it out for the 7 days, thanks so much for this option and now am running the full version. Every Nexus Galaxy owner should def. own this great app. Thanks again very much.
Awesome and very handy! This app is a must buy for all Android users who want a smarter orientation control. I can't believe Google still has not included these settings by default in Android! You can choose from a variety of different orientation settings which solve every use case that you can imagine! Per app orientation settings are godsend and also the option to hide the persistent notification is a great plus! Plus they even made super handy widgets, wow. Amazingly superb work developers! 5 stars all the way!
Became TERRIBLE Once I Paid!!! BEWARE! Used the free trial & it worked like a charm, so when it expired, I shelled out $3 and this app went downhill from there. 1st, it would keep resetting itself from Forced Auto so I would constantly have to go into settings in the app to reset it, to get my homescreen to rotate. After a few weeks it stopped doing that, but from there on in it's made my Nexus 7 EXTREMELY SLOW. The homescreen constantly freezes, gets sluggish and/or goes blank completely. I didn't know what the problem was until I read other similiar reviews. I uninstalled this app from my Nexus 7, and my tablet is working fine once again. I feel SERIOUSLY RIPPED OFF for paying for this.
Great, but flawed The app works great. It gives a lot of flexibility and lets you force different orientation on apps which don't respect landscape or portrait. Unfortunately, it slows down my HTC One notification tray. Pulling down and interacting with items in the notification area is slow and unresponsive while this app is running. I would give 5 stars if performance is better. Unfortunately, in its current state, I can not use it due to massive slowdown and unresponsiveness. I suggest people use Tasker and build their own rotation app.
A marvelous tool that empowers you to have full control over apps that don't work and play well with your desire to display the way you want them too!. For instance I prefer to view everything in landscape. With this lil tool all I have to do is "set it (once and forget it. I never have to go back and set it again. I don't have to have the app on any screen ready to fight the next troublesome app.I can keep this in my app drawer out of my way. Worth every penny!
Ultimate Rotation Control I've been an Android user for about three months now and this is the first app I've come across that was worth buying. I'm one of those suckers who, having never heard of rooting, ROMing, etc., switched to an Android device with the mistaken assumption that Android offers 'jailbroken iOS-level' customization straight out of the box. I was starting to lose hope until I found this app. Not too happy about having two icon spaces on my home screen tied up just to be able to properly rotate my screen. It's a little pricey for a feature that should've been built-in from the start (especially on devices like the Galaxy Note 2, marketed as part phone - part tablet), but it works great. It would be nice if it included a FAQ to explain options in a little more detail. Definitely in my top-5 Android apps list!
