About this app

Joulo makes it easy to earn money with your home charging station. Every time you charge your electric vehicle, your charging sessions are automatically registered and converted into ERE credits (Emission Reduction Units). These credits are traded via the Dutch Emissions Trading System (NEa), and the earnings are paid out to you.

What does the Joulo app offer?

Easily connect your charging station from brands such as Tesla, Easee, Zaptec, Wallbox, Smappee, and more. Joulo does the rest. Here's how it works:

1. Create an account on joulo.nl
2. Connect your home charging station via the Cloud API or OCPP
3. Charge your car as you normally do
4. Joulo registers your sessions and calculates your ERE credits
5. You receive payouts as soon as the credits have been traded

Joulo is free to use. We only charge a small percentage of the earnings from your ERE credits.
