Seeming pretty addictive at the moment. The only real issues I have is that you can't cancel a builder's actions. So you'll end up accidentally sending all your builders out for one project and they all end up being killed. The same with farmers; they don't come in behind the city walls and get killed every night. It's just an instant waste of gold.

Another unique game that is way overrated just to justify it's uniqueness.. the amount of content and length in this game for 10$ is rather pathetic. Sure I love the idea and it was fun getting away with the crown but it's super repetitive and don't see any reason to play once it has been defeated.. it could have had wayyyyy more in terms of length and repeatability. I just barely missed the refund time.. wish I had just pirated the apk instead. Anyhow, cool idea but overall 10$ is way too much for the content, should honestly be 1$-3$

I'm changing my rate... The game is good, game play is great, but sometimes the builders are really stupid. How can I win like that? I know nothing is too easy, but not impossible... Like, the builder built a barricade on one side, but didn't finish the other... What now... During the night, the monsters will attack me with no struggle because the AI is telling them to be dumb and let mobster steal their coins... Really upset.

I have played this game on pc for years and loved it to the point that I have bought copies for friends on steam. I was really looking forward to being able to play it on my phone whilst commuting to and from work however I have been left disappointed due to one thing which is the controls. I hate the way you are constantly dropping coins when trying to move. This has led me to cut trees down where I didn't want to which can ruin your strategy for example if it was the last treatment preventing a peasant camp from disappearing. Why can't the screen be split into 3 with taps and swipes on the left and right side for movement and taps in the centre for dropping coins? I hope this is fixed until then the game is too frustrating for me to play.

It's an excellent game. The pixel art is fantastically done, but as of now the game I don't think is perfectly optimized for Android experience because it becomes very very laggy, almost to the point of unplayable once you have heaps of buildings (especially when there are units on screen, or raining). Until it's fixed I'll give it a 4 star, because it is a damn good game. And I'm using an Xperia Z4 tablet with 3gb ram.

I love this game top to bottom. If was originally a PC game but I always knew it was more of a phone game. It can be stressful at times but is a great buy non the less.

Hi Oblivoni, have you unlocked all the lands and all the new items? The game isn't short, but if you judged it from a few hours of play it's easy to miss the depth. We were inspired by design tropes of classic games and should be played with that in mind. Hope you try it a bit more and discover the charm that so many others have got to experience. They fixed the control problems. Now the only thing that hold this game back is the fact knights steal coins produced by archers hunting near the walls and how builders don't all work on the same project; sometimes you will have builders standing around doing nothing when only one project is active. This may be a bit difficult to code, especially for when several projects may be active at one time, but this problem really needs to be addressed as I have been defeated 3 times already because a single builder can't repair a full stone wall in time and his friends just watch as we get swarmed by the greed. These problems could be solved by modding on the PC, but we are very limited with mobile.
Overall very fun game to play, I have both PC and mobile and somehow I'm doing better on my phone XD. Gets a tad laggy once you have multiple greed spawn in on late rounds as well as my phone starts heating up after hours of playing when charging or not
I fully unlocked the third section and all of my progress dissapeared please help. I love the game but I played a long time to get almost all the unlockable things so please help.
The attacker people should have a chance. Not a big one but a small chance to drop money
Poor graphics, mediocre game play, clunky controls, overpriced. With so many 5 star ratings I'm wondering what I missed.

Hi Tushar, I think you missed a lot. There are 5 lands to discover and many unlocks. It's pixel art as well, so not sure about your feedback on graphics. Hope you try it a bit more and discover the charm that so many others have got to experience. Game Sucks! Haven't opened it yet... looking forward for that tho!

Your device is the issue, not the game. Try playing on a higher spec device. What a brilliant game. I can play it for hours. Definitely worth the price.
I really love this game. But where is the sixth island?!?
An amazing gem of a game, it is so enjoyable to play. Graphics and music are amazing too. Its worth the money.
Game is awsome BUT it is too hard once winter hits your screwed farmers become useless and never to be used again i had the merchant but took way too long too save up after restocking archers and repairing the biggest walls you can get there is nothing left for the boat to move on so game is very very hard in that sence please FIX this so winter only lasts about a season or about 10 or so days so you can keep playing rather than just restarting the game every single time when you get stuck like my last 6 or so games very very frustrating

Once you hit winter you only have the coffers you saved to help you get out of your Kingdom and sail to the next. Simple, beautiful, challenging. Awesome game!
Absolutely great game. I saw this on PC but waited for this to be released on mobile as I knew it would make an awesome mobile experience. Gameplay is amazing. It does not hold your hand, but each play through teaches you something knew. The only single flaw is that touching constantly causes dropped coins when my intention is mostly something else like galloping or trying to fill the coin slots when building. Love the pixel art. It keeps me from trying to focus on high graphical detail on a tiny mobil screen. The epitome of a perfect mobile game.
Good game but I can't get very far. The monsters should give gold and attack every other day. The king/queen should be able to attack. This could be awesome if there were some type of permanent progression. It just sucks to have to start all the way over when I can't get past a week or so. Help us out. Need to be able to upgrade the horse too to be able to sprint further through the map. And the level at which you can upgrade your defenses needs to be dictated by your camp. Also I can't save my progress!

There is a roguelike aspect to the game where failing is what should happen while you learn and explore. Also, keep in mind this is the pure game as on PC and Console. So, it's for gamers like you. :) I bought this game on PC and now I will obsess over it just as much on mobile. Learning the mechanics is the hardest part, but once you start to embrace the fact that you'll learn more from your failures than your successes, you will be able to find an odd sort of pleasure in rebuilding your kingdom with new precious knowledge each time. I love that this game will be a calming and meditative experience in one moment - before turning into a thrilling fight for survival in the next. A beautiful experience.
Fantastic game, but pretty buggy. Graphics and gameplay are great, very strategic but immensely simple. Unfortunately I keep getting a bug where all my farmers stop in the winter, instead of half. They dropped like 30 coins worth of sythes! Also, workers will occasionally "give up" on works in progress when chased by the green and then ignore them indefinitely.
Hello i love your game I also have it on steam and I'm happy to help and support such great game developers such as yourselves. I have one issue and that is there are horizontal lines that come and go at least on my phone can you fix that please and thank you.
Amazing addictive game great rogue like gameplay and town management against monsters. The graphics are beautiful pixelated graphics with great shadows and lighting. I only wish that controls were a little tighter would be much better. Also would like to see this on my PS Vita or PS4 would be much better. But on my 12 inch Lenovo Yoga this is still amazing. So addicting.
An amazing game that catches you off guard. There is so much depth to the game and definitely does not hold your hand as you learn and develop your strategy. A game that you can spend hours at a time on easily. Great game and I look forward to any future entries in this series.

So glad you're finding the depth, it's gamers like yourself that motivate us to stick making experiences. Great game. Very polished. As you play, the difficulty increases, for those that like a challenge. That said, the feature that most ties the game together(in my personal enjoyment) is the amazing soundtrack. The loneliness you feel, as your horse grazes away from safety, is fantastic. You are but a King.

Thanks for the review and kind words Alex. :) Downloaded this as soon as I found this almost flawless game besides controls. I do have one question what does they guy with the mule/donkey do? I give him one coin and he walks away
I have played Kingdom: New Lands pretty thoroughly on Steam and was surprised to see that the Android port had finally come out, let alone play well. It is a solid port from PC! Gratz guys! --FEEDBACK: Would love to see optional/alternative control layouts. The touch controls work quite well, however the walk/run mechanic is very fidgety and often results in extra time being spent picking up coins I never intended to drop. The same applies to coin spending. --REQUEST: I would like to see a greater distinction between walk and run. Collecting my sweet sweet tax is much more a chore when I occasionally sprint past my peeps.

Good feedback Ash, we'll see what we can do with tuning the touch input. I played this for hours with touch support and now I can't play it at all? This is a great game but now it's waste of space on my tablet. Why would you remove something that was working fine? Update: Touch support is back! Thanks!
Raw Fury March 12, 2017
The game is now update with full touch support for all owners. :) So I kept asking myself why I would buy a game for $10 on a phone. I still am not quite sure I did. I mean don't get me wrong, the game is beautiful...That's really about it. The gameplay is repetitive and you can work so hard and have it all taken away in minutes. No tutorial or hints at what exactly things do. I guess you just have to figure it out. But then hey, this is a $10 game, why should I? I'd say watch some YouTube videos or something first to see if you'd like it. Maybe the game gets better in the future.
Raw Fury March 16, 2017
Hi Justin, there are 5 lands to explore and unlocks, have you found them all. The game seems repetitive in the beginning but after finding more secrets it can expose a lot of new strategies. Give it a bit more time. And the lack of explanation is intentional to put in the player's hands to figure it out. It's a great game, love it to pieces, but there's an odd bug where the game seems to lag immensely when the boat is built. There's also silver streaks going horizontally when the Archer statue is enabled, and more random lag. Could be that my device is not very powerful.
Extremely pretty but unnecessarily punishing. Far too hard to determine if you're doing well or not. Too many cryptic elements and too easy to die. Can't help feeling this would have been better off not being rogue like.
THIS GAME IS ACTUALLY WORTH BUYING FOR PHONE WHAT!? I didn't know I would ever be ok with buying a phone game until now
Do winter ever end? Can't wait to see but really do it??? Saved up.This my money game it's intelligent.. it's hard to survive 100 days if you run out of money in the middle of the winter..Great game doe
Nice graphics, nice controls, but the difficulty is hard, ease it up a bit or put a difficulty level like easy, hard etc. Love the game so much, I'm glad you released it on mobile version Keep up the good work raw fury!
I have too many words for this game. Stunning graphics, great music, perfect controls, fantastic gameplay. It does start to lag when there is a larger battle going on. Worth every penny. I really appreciate this game.
