About this app

With the Konnect OuderApp you get more insight into what your child experiences during a day care. The OuderApp contributes to better parent communication between parent and employee in a safe environment. Through the timeline you can see the photos and the report of the day in one store. In the Inbox you can read the messages from the group and you can also send a message yourself. You also have insight into the agenda and you can read the news items and newsletters.
 
To use the OuderApp, your childcare organization must be affiliated with Konnect. You also need a user name and password, which you will receive through your childcare organization. If your children receive childcare at different daycare organizations that are affiliated with Konnect, it is easy to switch between the different accounts.

Ratings and reviews

Ok, but very difficult to use for photos. When exporting photos, they have the wrong date (in the JPEG metadata), and a random name. So in Google Photos they appear on the day that I saved them. And the order is completely wrong, and random. And if you try to save photos manually, you can't save all the photos from a day, but only one by one.

after the update of the app, the Nieuws items appear after you click on yourself and then locatie and then the nieuws. a bit hidden in comparison with how it was. we really need to do all these extra steps. Additionally, the short overview of those nieuws items is not properly aligned. the 2nd item doesn't have padding. you should follow the same styling as the nieuwsbrief items. further the new update is quite nice to the eye, it is a modern app after all!

It does what it needs to, and it's easy to navigate. I generally like the app. BUT it's painfully slow. Logging in/starting the app takes longer than 10seconds, and loading an image after clicking on it takes 5sec, so a simple missed tap on the screen can cause major frustration. Also, when applying for multiple extra days of daycare, you clicl the "add date" button, and then you get to another page where you have to click it again to add the actual date. It's a wasted click :)
