No matter where you are in the app, it will assist you with your smoothest ride yet:

Home
• No keys are needed, your bike smartly recognizes you. Unlock your bike with just a tap or create a personal unlock code to easily unlock your bike without your phone.
• Check how much battery your bike has (and Powerbank if you have one).
• View your current speed, distance, and ride duration on your in-app live dashboard.
• Adjust your bike settings instantly on the home screen. You can change your motor assistance, gears, lights, bell sound, and other bike sounds.

Rides
• Look back at every trip with a detailed ride overview.
• You can view every journey, including the time, distance, maximum and average speed, if you stopped, and how much battery it cost.
• See how you compare to other VanMoof riders in your city and across the World.

Garage
• Find all of your bike information, change your bike settings, and view your My VanMoof profile.
• Share your bike with your friends and family.
• Mark your bike as missing and send in the Bike Hunters.
• If your bike has Apple Find My, you can see the current status.

Seems a reliable app these days, I just don't understand why it allows the screen to go off while you're using the speedo and map. I nearly kill myself every time trying to get the screen back on while I'm travelling along! Please can you make it stay awake or at least make it an option!? STILL AN ISSUE IN 2025

Can't use this app with Google Pixel 3a. I give the app one star because I can't use it. Apparently a known issue. Not sure what other phones the app doesn't work with. "Unfortunately, this is a known problem with the Pixel phone. (I have a Pixel as well so I know exactly what you are talking about). It has something to do with how the Pixel saves a lot of Bluetooth caches"

Updated review: It connects better, but the UI is now worse. It operates off a timezone not local to the user and inaccurately tracks rides. One ride gets broken into separate rides for some reason, even though the stops were only 30s long. It's also incredibly inaccurate about where it thinks the bike is, as much as 3 miles off. Still wish it would show a range map and a time to full charge. That'd really make the app have more of a point beyond being a glorified key fob.

Wondering how far your VanMoof can get you? Now you can see your expected range for your battery level, which is based on years of real world data. Don’t fret if you prefer to see a percentage, you can always switch between the two.
