VS Safety, the safety app from Stichting VeiligSamen, is there for those moments when you are traveling alone and want to feel just that little bit more reassurance. Whether you are cycling home in the dark, walking through the city alone, or want to get home safely after a night out. With VS Safety, you are not alone. The app connects you with people around you and gives you a sense of calm, clarity, and support, exactly when you need it.

With VS Safety, you see safe places in your area, such as locations that are open and accessible when you feel a little uneasy. If you see something that doesn't feel right, you can easily share it so that others nearby remain alert. If things really aren't going well, there is the SOS function. With a single action, your trusted contacts are immediately alerted and receive your live location and video feed, so that help can arrive quickly. Meanwhile, they are actively monitoring the situation and escalating if necessary.

You can also arrange for someone to keep an eye on things with you while you are on the road. By checking in, you let them know that you have arrived safely. If you remain silent for too long, a notification is automatically sent via SMS or WhatsApp, even if the other person does not have the app. This way, you know that someone is always keeping an eye out.

VS Safety is all about prevention, trust, and taking care of one another. It is not control, not fear, but a sense of reassurance. You decide what you share and when. Your privacy always comes first.
