About this app

Use the bike and hike nodes system in The Netherlands, Belgium and the borders of Germany to plan your own bike routes. After you make your route you can save, mail and share it.

You can use your own routes by starting GPS navigation combined with speech instructions in your own language.

On the map you see several points of interests for a stop. You can click on a POI for more information.

Besides planning routes you can use labels to group your routes and you can invite friends to share routes among.

Very pleased. I paid extra to get the full version and, having just come back from 2 weeks of cycling in the Netherlands, I don't regret it. Yes, there were a couple of times when there was an error but that was because there were roadworks happening and diversions were in place. The GPS lagged a little but it wasn't a problem as you can also follow IRL signs. We were on a tandem and I shared the app with my stoker so we could both plan and use reach others routes. We will use it again. :)

This app was essential to my bicycle tour around NL. The routes are much better than Google maps and it's much nicer to follow signposts with automatic numerical audio cues than "turn left then turn right". My main issues were the audio cues not pausing audio in the background (I had podcasts and audiobooks on so that the first part of the direction wouldn't get lost as my headset reconnected) like other navigation apps, and the map not loading at the worst times. Very useful overall

Upd.2 seems it doesn't work with a private dns... Upd. No contact with server, tried reinstalling gives same error :/ Very nice app.i use it to plan all my routes. A nice functionality would be to have the possibility to see routes that i already did. An example would be if i select to see already visited routes, then the nodes will be highlighted in some colour, ex. Route 92-93 would be in a special colour

What's new

View the radar from the route screen while biking or hiking. There you can immediately see your fellow Fietsknoop users in your area.
Fietsknoop[+]Plus users also see their active Friends on the map.
We have furthermore fixed some small errors and adapted some texts.
