With GDAK you can create databases on your Android device and fill them with caches via the Geoacaching.com Live API. Just install GDAK, let GDAK create the necessary directories, press the menu button and choose for Create Database. You can create as many databases as you want, but one database will suffice for most users.
It is also possible to view and work with databases from GSAK, the Geocaching Swiss Army Knife application for Microsoft Windows PCs, on your Android device. GDAK uses databases created by the GSAK program, so you will also need to have GSAK installed on your PC and create one or more databases there before using GDAK.
New feautures:
• On the images tab you can now see the log-images.
• A new menu-option: "With current filter". This option will open a new menu. With this menu you will be able to manage your database. Try it and see it yourself.
• A simple change in the filter options. You can now filter on archived, not available and available caches any way you want.
• Grabbedimages can now be contained in zip-files. Just be sure the files.db3 is still unzipped. The amount of zip-files is not very importand, and zipped and not zipped images can be mixed. But a little warning: zipped files loading is slow...
• You can now import caches that are published the last X days. (X can be 1-30)

I used to use this a lot on a Samsung S3. Now I have upgraded to an HTC M9 all the SD Card databases are empty and cannot be written to! There appears to be an issue with GDAK requesting read write access from the OS. Can this please be fixed? Until then one star......

What the heck is the compass pointing at? First I thought it was the cache. But then I rote the device with out turning my body and the arrow seems to be pointing north.

Great App Works perfectly with GSAK on computer. Simple to transfer databases to phone once you get the hang of it.

Pretty nice app I've been looking for a good caching app on Android since I switched from IOS. This is getting close to being my default caching app on my phone. The only feature it lacks (or I haven't found yet) is the ability to filter out caches I own from the results. It'd be worth another star if this was added. If it could import gpx files directly from Dropbox or GDrive, that might be another star. This app is easier to use than most of the other geo-apps for Android.
Latest update killed the app Used to quite like this. But the latest update crashes during downloads of pocket queries on the registered version only so app is now useless. But more worrying its back to wiping the database when you quit without the ad free part installed. Contrary to the update text this still doesn't say how many tb's are in the cache.

I will add a "tb present" icon soon! Great app - Great price Really enjoy being able to quickly copy my GSAK info to my phone. Worked like a charm - used it side-by-side with my eTrex C. Loved being able to use the app without using data plan. Will be throwing a couple of $ your way :)
Works but... I use cachesense for finding caches via the phone. I think if the dev would aim more of a GSAK type app and forgo the navigating I'd use it more. Lacking functionality that I'd find more useful to me. Love to have filters, mass user flag deflag capability, I couldn't even figure out how to refresh my flagged caches to filter out my finds in the limited filter. Will keep an eye on to see if things progress.
A Wobbly Start but Now Good When I first got this app I had trouble downloading pocket queries but with the help of the author and subsequent beta and full releases I now have sturdy app capable of on-line and off-line caching that I am proud enough to write a review about. the support both via email and through the GDAK forum has been swift and excellent and I am looking forward to continuing to use this app as it evolves in what I personally reckon will be a contender for other premium apps. If you get this app be prepared to read the forums and support site and play with it before trying to use it in the field. I'm about to use it camping and on a road trip from Devon to Scotland. what would be really cool is if the developer can get this app to the stage that you can run GSAK macros on it such as badge gen. It would also be good if the app can upload field notes to geocaching,com rather than to a locally stored text file. Thank you for a great app and all the best for future development. Nice app :) I like it, it is very helpful application. Works with GSAK databases, can make field notes, etc.
A geocaching must The compass still needs some work, and it would be nice to be able to shut off help screens once you have seen it a few times. Owner maintenance option would be a nice thing to have in the log find section. With these fixes done I would give it 5 stars and promote it on our geocaching store page.

Your gsak on the go Great app, I just copy my gsak db to my phone and off I go. Nice maps, clean interface.
Great field app! Great for logging offline and exchanging between GSAK. Really like the API access. Highly recommended.
If it worked it'd be great. Constant force closes, never loads caches, better apps out there for same thing but actually work.
Won't load any caches DroidX - always says no caches, though there are hundreds around. And I paid for the ad free!
