About this app

Angels / Angels is a location-based app developed to listen to Angels / Angels again. The unique sound work of versatile artist Moniek Toebosch (1948-2012) was broadcast between 1994 and 2000 via an FM frequency. Through this app, angelic chants will sound - which is generated by special software - when the user of the app is in the d.m.v. geo fencing defined area: a circle with a radius of ten kilometers in the middle of the dike that separates the IJsselmeer from the Markermeer, located between Enkhuizen and Lelystad. With the water on either side, this location-based app takes you into heavenly realms.

Outside the veneered area, the app does display the information about Angels / Angels - and also the distance to the area in which the app becomes active - but the angels remain silent.

Note: to be active, location access must be enabled on your device (smartphone or tablet).
