My Mentor is the platform that makes it easy to get or give help in a wide range of subjects – from schoolwork and exam preparation to coaching, legal guidance and psychological counseling. For students: Download the app and register via Vipps to get started. Browse profiles of approved mentors and filter by subject and education level. Send a request with your question, and get an answer within 15 minutes. Everything happens via video call directly in the app for a fixed price of 495 NOK per hour. You see exactly how many minutes you have left, can rate mentors after each session, and have a full overview of meeting history and purchases. For mentors: Share your expertise and earn 375 NOK per hour on your own time. Create a profile with CV and documentation, select the subjects you want to teach, and connect to Stripe for automatic payout. Turn availability on and off when it suits you, receive requests with push notifications, and hold video meetings directly in the app. The platform handles all payment, time registration and technical infrastructure – you focus on teaching. My Mentor gives full flexibility and control to both parties.
