About this app

StitchEven is a little calculation helper for knitters. It takes the tedious math out of the pattern, so you can spend your time on the actual knitting.

How StitchEven helps:
• Space increases and decreases evenly. Enter the stitches on the needle and the number of increases or decreases, and get a ready-made distribution, in the round or flat.
• Place buttonholes evenly along an edge.
• Convert gauge. Find out how many stitches to cast on for the width you want, from your own gauge swatch or from the pattern.
• A row counter to keep track of rounds while you knit.

The pattern shows step by step or in compact form, and you can choose a simpler or a more exact calculation. The app has a light and a dark mode, keeps the screen awake while you knit, and explains the abbreviations used in the patterns.

Available in English, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, German and French.
