Dogs like to taste most things, but not everything is equally safe to eat. Feedo makes it easy for you to find safe and up-to-date information about what is dangerous and provides guidance on whether you should contact a vet.
During our professional career, we have often received questions from dog owners who wonder if what the dog has eaten is dangerous. Some things are completely harmless, but many find it challenging to find good and up-to-date information about what is actually toxic to dogs. We therefore want to develop a reference work that makes it easier to find safe and up-to-date information and gives an indication of whether or not you need to contact a vet.
We at Feedo are very proud to have received support from Oslo municipality's subsidy for animal welfare.
The app allows you to:
- Look up a list of potential toxins
- See information about each poison to get more information about how dangerous it is
- Calculate how dangerous the poison dose is based on how much the dog weighs and how much it has eaten
- Register your own dogs to make it easier to calculate when you are in an uncertain situation
