About this app

Bring chores, allowance, and rewards together with Kroni. Agree on what needs doing, let children see their progress, and keep track of the promises you make as a family.

A clear plan for today
Create paid or unpaid chores, choose whether they need your approval, and see what is waiting for you. Children mark their chores as done. When approval is required, the reward is added after you approve. You can also record completed chores for a child.

Routines that fit your week
Choose daily chores, specific weekdays, one-off tasks, or a flexible number of times per week. Focus mode shows one chore at a time, with steps you write and an optional countdown. Reaching zero does not take away a reward.

Allowance on your terms
Set an allowance amount and a weekly, every-other-week, or monthly schedule. Keep track of earnings, rewards, and adjustments in each child's balance. Kroni records virtual balances: your family handles any actual payment. It does not hold or transfer money.

Set something aside
Children choose how much of their available balance to move into a savings or giving goal. See the amount set aside separately from money available to spend. You can also promise a matching contribution.

Rewards your family chooses
Create rewards such as a game night, choosing dinner, or an outing. Children can suggest chores and wish for rewards. Follow reward requests through approval and delivery. For a timed reward, agree on a duration and start the countdown when the reward begins. The timer records your agreement; it does not block other apps.

Close the week together
Look back at completed chores, leave a short note for each child, and optionally share a weekly card. Closing the week does not pay allowance or approve waiting chores.

A shared family view
Keep parents and children connected in the same household. Use separate devices or switch profiles on a shared phone. Kroni is available in English, Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish.

The free plan includes one child, up to five active chores, savings goals, and rewards. Paid Kroni Family provides room for more children and active chores. Available plans and prices are shown in the app before purchase.

What’s new

New in Kroni Family: a weekly savings bonus. Pick 1, 2 or 5%, and every Sunday each child gets that share of their savings, paid by you. Tasks and Rewards show a badge when your child sends a chore suggestion or a wish. You can now hide the family challenge. Lists are no longer cut off above the tab bar, and taking money out warns you before a balance goes below zero. The keyboard no longer hides the buttons while you type.
