About this app

The app for Android is different from anything else you've seen in weather forecasting: Scroll through a beautiful and animated sky to see how the weather changes hourly, and get all the need-to-know details at the same time. And if there will be rainfall within the next 90 minutes we'll let you know through our now-cast.

The weather visualization makes it a fun experience to check the weather – even when it's raining!

Check details day by day and hour by hour in the long-term forecast, or study the details in the graph.

Under "Around you" you get an overview of UV levels, air pollution and pollen spread, as well as the latest weather observations and webcams in your area. Locations outside Norway may have limited content if there is no available data.

Wear OS is a streamlined version of the app, and contains only the most important features from the weather service. Search for locations around the world and get a weather forecast for the coming days.

Forecasts are delivered by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

Ratings and reviews

The app is good but the widget no longer works properly. Every time it loses the location and I have to refresh it on the widget and then it doesn't always fix it. I have given it location permissions and it never used to do this until recently. Considering using a different app at this point because I just want to see the time and weather at the same time but the app widget is broken. If I go into the app it asks me to reconnect all the time.

App is great and accurate. For me, its the most accurate weather app there is.Been using this for many many years...but I still struggle every time to change the displayed location in the widget,nearly impossible to change my location with either location based setting (just keeps the default) or trying to change itmanually, when travelling. Not user friendly on this way. I need to uninstall and reinstall everytime i travel to a new city/country. And yes, location access is granted to always.

great app, only issues I have are: 1. you can't get a pollen forecast in the UK - maybe there's an API for using the data that met office app uses so well. 2. that it takes a few taps to get an idea of the hour-by-hour forecast for the day. other than that, it's a really good app and clear visual displays.
