Inspired by the simple question, “Aaja kati gatey?”(What’s today’s date?), Nepali Patro, Nepal’s first digital calendar has grown into a trusted platform helping Nepalese around the world stay connected to Tithi–Miti, festivals, and their cultural roots.

We believe a calendar is more than a tool to check dates. It is a living cultural bridge that connects our traditions, values, and shared identity across generations and geographies. With this belief and our new identity, we will continue to keep Nepalese around the world informed and connected, through meaningful information, creative expression, promotion of arts, and evolving technology.

The new logo presents an abstract form of the Nepali letter “ने”, symbolizing Nepal and Nepali identity. It also reflects the dynamic motion of a calendar in transition, capturing the continuous flow of time and change. This is not just a visual update, but a deeper expression of who we are and what we stand for.

With this, Nepali Patro aims to further strengthen its role in bringing together culture, community, creativity, and technology, creating a more meaningful and inspiring experience for all.

The application's functionality is commendable, user-friendly, and efficient. However, there is an issue with the date notification not appearing in the notification bar after a certain period, even when sticky notification is enabled. Additionally, if there are other notifications on the phone, they must be manually checked from the notification list. Occasionally, news and other notifications from app may merge, failing to display the date.

I have rated this app as 5 start for all these years, but unfortunately, I am dropping it to 3 star. Ads I understand they need for revenue, but performance is awful. Doesn't load the dates at time. I had few occasions where I am trying to look up some dates quicklu and it takes forever to load. Sometimes, I have to force stop and try again. I am using this on an Android device.

I have been using this app for many years now.nit was very good and easy for me to use that app. Nothing seems to have problems until a few months now. It's frequently crashing on my device and making it hard to run smoothly .plus, the sticky notifications don't show on a regular basis . I get notifications to keep this app on a deep sleep in my device, which seems to be a problem all of a sudden ???
