The app isn't user friendly I opened NPS account sometime back. It made contribution. No password was asked to set during the process. Later when I wished to log in , it asked for password, which was never generated. When I wanted to Set up new password, it freezed my account. I could not set up a security question as THE SYSTEM DOESN'T GIVE OPTION TO DO SO.... Also you have kept some limitations for first contribution, one CANNOT READ THE ENTIRE SENTENCE OF INSTRUCTIONS BY CLICKING THE SENTE

I use this app to contribute to my NPS account. Since the last few months (maybe a be new update), when I select UPI for the transaction it shows the QR code to scan. How can I scan the QR code shown on my phone screen through the UPai apps installed on my phone. Earlier and with other other apps when we transact thru UPI apps automatically get open or we get the option to choose one. Not sure if this breaks in my phone or others are also facing this issue.

After update-24/05/2026 When I tried to login with password; as I had set the m-pin and forgotten it; additional Details based OTP generation started but shocked that I didn't receive the OTP in stipulated time frame even for continuous 4-5 tries. OTP came after time expiry! in one attempt even though my internet was on with high speed; the app indicated "no internet connection!" Still the OTP comes after the expiry of stipulated 60 sec time! OTP should also be sent on registered email Id.
